Finepix Real 3D W1 Officially Released in Japan!
As I reported yesterday, the Finepix Real 3D W1 digital camera had began to pop up on ebay without a release being made official.
It is now official! The Finepix Real 3D System has been released to stores in Japan starting today. The price tag has remained unchanged from previous reports coming in at roughly $600 US.
Although an official release for the rest of the world is still reported at a month away, you can still be one of the first to own the Fujifilm Finepix Real 3D W1 camera through ebay.

It sure was a long wait!, but its finally here.
i really thought they will reduce the price, its pretty astronomical for a camera that looks like that, even though with its 3D sweetness, Costing like an SLR will give it a tough battle for pick up buyers, buyers will be people who need it for a specific purpose and i can’t see too many of them at the moment… hopefully it will all go well, since i really want to see 3D camera’s succeeding, technology needs to evolve in more than useless megapixel wars, creative idea’s like this push technology, not a 100Megapixel useless sensor which can take a picture of earth from space.
Hoping for a price reduction.. and a review Kevin! hoping you’ll be bringing one to us! Thanks
It was a long wait for some. We first heard about the possibility of a 3D capable camera from Fujifilm about a year ago, but the camera really didn’t take shape for many until about a month ago. It’s hard to justify the price without seeing the physical 3D pics, but that’s impossible without a lenticular screen or print. All we can go on is reviews from those that actually buy the camera. I think that will be the only thing that holds this camera back from starting a new revolution of digital cameras. Only time will tell. Thanks for your comment. Kevin
